The joint-winners (Laura Solomon and Rebecca Tomasis) have received a cash prize. Their books, Instant Messages (Solomon) and Mishpacha -- Family (Tomasis) were published in November 2010.
Three other works entered for the 2009 competition were published by Proverse Hong Kong in 2010: Immortelle and Bhandaaraa Poems (Lelawattee Manoo-Rahming), refrain (Jason Polley) Smoked Pearl (Akin Jeje). A further work longlisted in 2009 will be published in 2011, Home, Away, Elsewhere (Vaughan Rapatahana).
