Proverse Prize finalist Stewart McKay was the second writer to brave Sadie Kaye‘s The Writer’s Gauntlet in The Hooghly Review. Author and comedian Helen Lederer, founder of the Comedy Women in Print Prize, was the first to take part in this weekly battle of the wits. Sadie has been published by Proverse as a poet in four Mingled Voices anthologies and is well known for her humour columns on the radio and regional publications.
